Dzogchen Navodila o Zlati Esenci

Drenpa Namkha je prvi Dzogchen ustni prenos navodil o Zlati Esenci (Dzogchen Serdam) posredoval svojemu učencu Shensye Lhaje v 8. stoletju. Od takrat so bila navodila skrbno varovana kot ena najpomembnejših Bön Dzogchen učenj in bila posredovana le izbrani skupini praktikantov.

Učenje daje jasna navodila kako voditi svoje življenje iz vidika Dzogchen – brezmejnega uma, ki je jasen, močan in vsebuje popolno razsvetljenje znotraj svojega obsegu. Kot je rekel Drenpa
Namkha: »Kdorkoli je povezan s temi navodili, je kot zavest razumel zvok, svetlobo in žarke ter spoznal prazno esenco narave uma, naj bo prvobitno prebujen v prostoru (dbyings) narave Bona.«

Na Inštitutu Gyalshen imamo veliko srečo, da bo Chaphur Rinpoche posredoval ta dragocena navodila, ki jih na zahodu le redko učijo.

Kdo je Chaphur Rinpoche?

Geshe Chaphur se je rodil v Amdo Ngabi v vzhodnem Tibetu. Kot mlad fant je bil prepoznan kot reinkarnacija velikega mojstra Chaphur Phuntsok Wangyal Rinpoče s strani Njegove Eminence
Bon-Gya Rinpoče in drugih visokih lame. Diplomo Geshe je leta 2008 prejel v samostanu Menri, ki je glavnem samostan Bön tradicije in dom HH Menri Trizin, vodje ličine Bön in Menri Lopon
Rinpočeja. Med študijem je bil predsednik Bonske šole dialektike.

Geshe Chaphur ima širok raziskovalni interes, vendar se trenutno osredotoča na poetrijo in pesmi realizacije mojstrov ustnega izročila Zhang Zhunga.

Geshe la-jeva prva knjiga je bila zbirka njegove poezije v tibetanščini z naslovom Waves of an Uncontrived Mind (ma bcos sems kyi rlabs zhags), ki jo je izdal samostan Menri leta 2001.

Njegova druga knjiga, prav tako v tibetanščini, je bila zgodovinska študija o Zhang Zhungu in Yungdrung Bön-u v Tibetu z naslovom Footsteps of Buddha Shenrab of Olmo Ling, ki ga je leta 2007 izdal samostan Menri. Prispeval je tudi članke in bil pridruženi urednik »Bön-Go« (bon sgo), prve in najbolj cenjene akademske revije, posvečene preučevanju Böna.

Prispeval je s številnimi pesniškimi deli in članki za različne druge priljubljene tibetanske revije.
Leta 2003 so mu njegova pesniška prizadevanja prinesla naziv Umetnik revije Tsampa (rtsam pa’i sgyu tsal ba), s čimer je bil priznan kot drugi najboljši pisatelj v združenju Tsampa za poezijo.

Geshe Chaphur je ustanovitelj in duhovni direktor Gyalshen inštituta v San Francisco Bay Area v Združenih državah Amerike.

Dzogchen Instructions on the Golden Essence

Drenpa Namkha gave the first Dzogchen oral transmission of the instructions on the Golden Essence (Dzogchen Serdam) to his disciple Shensye Lhaje in the 8th century. Since that time it
has been closely guarded as one of the most important Bön Dzogchen teachings, and has only been transmitted to a select group of practitioners.

The teaching gives clear instructions on how to conduct one’s life from the view of Dzogchen – a boundless mind which is clear, powerful and contains full enlightenment within its scope. As
Drenpa Namkha said, “Whoever is connected with this instruction, having understood as consciousness the sound light and rays and realized the empty-essence of the nature of mind, may you be primordially awakened in space (dbyings) of the nature of Bon.”

We at Gyalshen Institute feel most fortunate that Chaphur Rinpoche will impart these precious instructions, which are rarely taught in the west. It is our wish that the blessing inherent in receiving

Who is Chaphur Rinpoche?

Geshe Chaphur was born in Amdo Ngaba in Eastern Tibet. As a young boy he was recognized as the reincarnation of a great master Chaphur Phuntsok Wangyal Rinpoche by His Eminence Bon-
Gya Rinpoche and other high lamas. He received his Geshe degree in 2008 from Menri Monastery, the principal monastery for the Bön tradition, and the home of HH Menri Trizin, the head of the Bön sect and Menri Lopon Rinpoche. While a student he served as president of the Bon School of Dialectics. Geshe Chaphur has broad research interests, but he currently focuses on the poems and songs of realization of the masters of the Oral Tradition of Zhang Zhung.

Geshe la’s first book was a collection of his poetry in Tibetan entitled Waves of an Uncontrived Mind (ma bcos sems kyi rlabs zhags), published by Menri Monastery in 2001. His second book, also in Tibetan, was a historical study of Zhang Zhung and Yungdrung Bön in Tibet entitled Footsteps of Buddha Shenrab of Olmo Ling, published by Menri Monastery in 2007. He
also contributed articles and served as an Associated Editor of “Bön-Go” (bon sgo), the first and most respected academic journal devoted to the study of Bön.

He has contributed a number of works of poetry and articles to various other popular Tibetan magazines. In 2003, his poetic efforts merited him the title of Artist of Tsampa Magazine (rtsam pa’i
sgyu tsal ba), recognizing him as the second best writer in the Tsampa Association for poetry.
